The NASA Innovative Advanced Concepts (NIAC) Program is proud to announce its annual Spring Symposium! All are invited to attend. It will be held at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in Chicago, IL on March 12-14, 2013.

NIAC Symposia are working meetings to review NIAC progress and plans, and discuss ways to make both more successful. The Symposia are open to the public because broad participation increases awareness of NIAC's studies and significantly adds to the discussions. NIAC Symposia also feature exciting keynote addresses to inspire the participants. Past NIAC speakers have included visionary thinkers, distinguished scientists, senior government officials, authors, astronauts, and entrepreneurs. Further information on NIAC‘s exciting progress and future plans will be discussed.

This Spring Symposium will feature progress presentations from NIAC's new Phase I Fellows, and poster sessions with their Phase II Fellows. The 2012 NIAC studies address diverse areas including: Revolutionary Construction, Human Systems, Autonomous Exploration, Sensing/Imaging, and Transportation/NEO Mitigation.
