Final Four Pitch Competition
The University of Illinois System’s Discovery Partners Institute is participating in startup pitch competition with DePaul, Purdue, and Michigan State at 1871 on July 31st (more info below and in the attached flyer).
UIC has brought together five student startup teams from across the UI System including 2 teams from UIUC, 2 from UIC, and 1 from UIS. There is an interactive component of the program where attendees can vote for their top startup from each school with those four teams then moving on to the “Final Four” pitching component to compete for prize money.
FINAL FOUR BUSINESS PITCH COMPETITION
- Tuesday, July 31st from 5:30 – 8:30pm @ 1871 (222 West Merchandise Mart Plaza #1212)
- Then University of Illinois System, DePaul University, Michigan State University, and Purdue University are hosting the Final Four Business Pitch at 1871 to explore the best university startups in Chicago.
- Students, faculty, staff, and alumni from each of the universities are invited to attend. Each university has selected five student teams and each team will have a display table to talk about their business idea. Each attendee will then vote for their favorite business idea from each university. The top team receiving the most votes from each university will then compete in a live 5-minute pitch with Q&A and our judges will award $8000 to our Final Four Teams!
