In 2016, Tianhe Stem Cell Technologies received a national grant funding ($780,000) from the National Ministry of Science and Technology in China. They received 2 national grants (total $200,000) from the National Science Foundation in China. Additionally, the company received 1.35 million from the sub-licencing of the technologies. Stem Cell Educator technology was approved by FDA for Phase 1/2 clinical trial in the US.
