U of I Hosts ThinkChicago: Chicago Ideas Week
The University of Illinois System along with Mayor Emanuel, World Business Chicago, and Chicago Ideas Week hosted 200 top tech students from across the country from October 20-22 for ThinkChicago: Chicago Ideas Week. Participants received an exclusive tour of Chicago’s vibrant tech scene, met the Mayor, and attended some of Chicago Ideas Week’s most popular talks. Attendees hailed from 20 different institutions across 13 states, including more than 40% from the U of I’s Urbana, Chicago, and Springfield campuses representing the Colleges of Engineering, Business, Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Science, Fine and Applied Arts, Liberal Arts and Sciences, and Media.
