2024 Proof of Concept Awardees
UIC Innovation through the Office of Technology Management (OTM) and the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Innovation (OVCI) selected 12 projects to advance technologies developed at UIC towards commercialization through this year's Proof of Concept (POC) Awards program. The recipients are targeting solutions in a range of commercial applications including therapeutics, health diagnostics, social impact, IT security, and advanced materials.
The POC Awards program, which began in 2012, provides up to $50,000 for Phase I projects. The milestone-driven projects are designed to de-risk early-stage technologies and validate commercial viability.
