Clare Harper is an Associate Technology Manager at the Office of Technology Management, UIC where she works with faculty to commercialize life science technologies in medicine and dentistry. Clare earned her bachelors degree in Biochemistry from Beloit College in Wisconsin. She completed her Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Biological Sciences at Northwestern University, where she specialized in cellular, molecular, and synthetic biology. Her research on mitochondrial biology was funded by the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. Outside of OTM, Clare is a member of Women in Bio and the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM).
