About
Hyunjin Kim joined the Office of Technology Management at UIC in July 2018. She works closely with investigators from the College of Dentistry and several departments in College of Medicine and College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Hyunjin is responsible for managing IP, evaluating, marketing, and licensing UIC intellectual property assets.
Prior to joining OTM, Hyunjin completed her Ph.D. in Biochemistry from University of Illinois at Chicago in 2017. She interned as a biotech analyst at Aspire Capital Fund, LLC evaluating publicly traded biotech companies for investment opportunities.
Hyunjin is a current member of the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM), Licensing Executives Society (LES), Women in Bio, and CHIentist.
